This Greek Goddess...

... is known as, "the Goddess of concealment". Which is what her name means, so there are no surprises there.

It has been said that, "she symbolizes the force that diverts men from their goals". Like a powerful storm.

She certainly diverted Odysseus, for seven years, when she kept him as her lover, against his will.

The mythology states that she lived on the island of Ogygia (near Malta) and lured him in with her singing... while she worked on her loom. (insert ominous music here)

Yes, that is what her story says.

Yet there are conflicting stories on where her island was located, specifically. Which leads to the intrigue of her name, Goddess of concealment, don't you think?



This looming Divinty, with a voice of honey, is sometimes referred to as a sea nymph.



How can we use Calypso Greek Goddesses energy?


As her name infers, call on Calypso for help in any matter regarding concealment.

I realize this sounds a bit negative but sometimes concealing aspects of oneself can be a positive action.

Maybe it's time to release a negative personality trait and sometimes you have to "fake it till you make it". So concealing it at first for an adjustment period may very helpful for you.


She can help you with that.


I once had a stalker and I definitely need some concealment then, so I called on Calypso (and others) to conceal my whereabouts to him....it worked.

For the record, I am fine, it was just a little harmless stalking :)



Calypso has energy...

That can feel somewhat like a errant child at times, (I mean no disrespect. That is just the most simplest way to describe how the "energy feels" to me) and I recommend being very grounded, centered and completely clear on your intentions surrounding your request for concealment while working with her.

Hold the light strong and she will match the light. If you go in with, shall I say, not so high of intentions/vibrations, she will match that too.

You are in control of your relationship with Calypso  Greek Goddess. So raise your vibration first, choose a high intention, hold the vision and proceed with love.
