For my review....

... of the Saints and Angels Oracle Cards, by Doreen Virtue, I will do a reading for myself so you can see my process step-by-step.

Here is the completed spread for my reading!

Saints and Angels Oracle Cards, 3 card spread

When you first start using Oracle Cards...

... I recommend following the 3 cards spread formula for the past, present and future (click here for more information on Oracle Cards, also known as Angel Tarot Cards and the 3 card spread).

However, today I was guided to do a reading on my present situation only (not including the past and the future) and allow for as many cards as needed (or felt right).

What does that mean?

Well, basically I had a "knowing" that this was going to happen. And how did I know that, you may ask? Well...I having been working with my intuition (and spirit) for years and it has become second nature for me. It is another voice in my head that I have become used to hearing and listening to.

Don't we all have voices and thoughts in our heads? Don't we hear things going around our brain all the time? Well....yes. I have just become clear, through practice, on which voice is which. That's all. Repetition and practice!

So where was I??

Oh yeah, I was listening to the voice....so...I shuffled the deck and immediately 2 cards fell out...Sleep...and Progress. One more shuffle and 1/3 of the deck fell onto the table still all stacked together and I just "knew" that when I flipped it over that would be my card. I added the "Love" card to my spread. It was at this point that I felt complete and listening to my inner voice I decided not to shuffle again.

The Sleep Card! I have been struggling in that department for the last couple of months. Spirit has been helping me and I know that this means they will continue to assist me and that I will very soon be sleeping through the night again.

They are reminding me of the importance and the need to heal, which occurs in the sleeping state.

They are also bringing to my attention the need to rest whenever possible, even during the day. "Be gentle on myself", they are saying.

I will check that my sleeping space is energetically clear and refreshed to set the tone for a good nights rest.

This card is reminding me to offload to the Angels my worries and fears so that I am free of emotional upsets. To trust that the Angels will take care of it!

We all need reminders sometimes

The Saints and Angels are telling me that on my quest forward, even though it may not look like it, I am making "Steady Progress" on my journey.

Yes, I am in the right place at the right time. Yes, I am supported. Yes, I am in the flow of the universe.

Trust that I am looked after. Appreciate those that look after me and appreciate where I have come from. Forgive yourself for what you think you've done or not done.

Ooh that's a good one! I am my own worst enemy. Yup, I do need to let some things go!

The Angels are saying, "Look back. Do you even recognize that girl?"

Well...no...I don't. I really don't.

My life is so different than it was five years ago. I a completely different person. I seem like I am living someone else's life, in a way, because it is so different.

Steady Progress and appreciation!

Love is everywhere and sometimes I get caught up in the everyday stuff that I forget that. Oh, who I am kidding! It's more than just "sometimes". I get swept off my feet into it like being caught up in a rushing river. Eventually the water slows and pushes me off to the side and as I reach shore I remember.

I remember that we are all Spiritual Beings having a human experience! I remember that we all have the light of the Divine inside of us, even though sometimes we have to look really hard to find it!

I remember that I am child of God! I remember that while at the same time I think, "what is God?".

This card is here to remind me that I don't need to do it all myself. I've been struggling trying to do just that.

Ask God for help...in everything and remember your life purpose involves being a role model for Divine Love!
